Second picture I've done today, but I dont have a scanner wired up at the minute so I cant put the other one up.
Did this entirely on the PC. It's always really scary starting strait from the PC with no pencil lines because I never fully trust my mouse work. But I am getting more confident with a mouse. Not any better, but definitely more confident.
Drew this this evening for my little sister, since she requested that I draw another of her characters. This is Mythanos her protagonist elf character. Probably one of the quickest digital pieces I've ever done, so in terms of time spent, I'm failry happy with the outcome. What really sucks is when bad art takes a long time. Bad art taking a short time is much higher in my good books.
I wanted to try something a little more realistic this time, and I think he does look more realistic than the other digital portraits I've done. He's got that slightly more real air of imperfection about him, though I have a feeling that may just be the bad art on my part. Oh well. Let me know what you think.
Mythanos belongs to my sister. Steal him in any way and I'll cut your heart out with a spoon and feed you to Mr Hudson's man-eating tadpoles.
Her eyes are _not_ scary. They are blue. (: I am forever impressed with your digital skills. Especially if you did this from scratch, with a mouse. 'Tis terrifying.
