New Wave was the very first type of contemporary music I appreciated, and they dont count as electronic :3
Having said that, I don't mind 70s and some 80s electronic stuff in moderation. I used to listen to a fair bit of 70s rave. And some electronic stuff is interesting- I listen to Kraftwerk and a couple of others.

Gilbert was the best. He liked MINTY FRESH music =) Music was I like when I was didi and wot I still like some of now =)

They incorporate some electronic sounds, but then, so does late Clash, and no one in their right mind is going to try and formulate an argument suggesting they are electronic XDD
